Recommended Zoom Audio Settings

To access these options:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.

  2. Click your profile picture, then click Settings.

  3. Click the Audio tab.

  4. Match the settings to the image below.

You can access your audio settings and test your audio before or when you are already in a lesson.

Other Considerations:

A headset is strongly recommended.

An ethernet connection is also recommended.

Also consider setting up a phone over your drums and joining the meeting using a 2nd zoom account, to provide your teacher with another view. Keep audio disabled on the phone and use only the audio from the computer. Jeff suggests using a gooseneck phone holder like this one: Gooseneck Phone Holder
