Rental Drumsets from Long & McQuade

If you’re not ready to commit to buying a drumset, renting can be a great alternative. If you live in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) there’s probably a Long & McQuade accessible to you. They have electronic kits for rent for as low as $35 / month. A premium model electronic kit goes for $100 / month, but if you’re just starting out, you can probably do with something more basic. You can also rent a high quality drum amp for $35 a month, but for most people, a set of desktop computer speakers, with 2 satellite speakers and a subwoofer, will be adequate. You may have to buy a cable to connect to the output on your drums, either 1/4 inch to RCA, or 1/8 inch to RCA.
