Online Drum Lessons Continue After COVID Restrictions Removed in Toronto, Ontario

At the Butterfield Effect, we introduced remote lessons via Zoom to provide lessons for students who wanted to continue their drum education, or get started on the drums, while we were all in various stages of lockdown.

These online lessons had a rocky start as we adjusted to the new format, but in the end were so successful, the majority of the students who were learning online, chose to remain online, even as we “opened up” for in-person lessons!

At the time this post is being written, we are currently in the height of the 6th COVID wave. Even though almost all restrictions have been lifted here in Toronto, choosing remote drum lessons may still be a wise decision, not only in terms of safety, but also being able to enjoy your lessons from the comfort of home!

Some students choose to attend both in-person and online lessons, and we are happy to offer that flexibility! This way you can experience the best of both worlds.
